APC Appoints New Party Chairman
APC appoints new party chairman in the ongoing NEC meeting. The National Executive Council Meeting of the APC which held virtually today has birthed the new National party Chairman.
The meeting which was convened by the deputy national secretary of the party, Victor Giadom, after he had assumed the position of Acting National Chairman also saw the election of more strategic leaders in the party.
The meeting gained credibility and support when President Buhari declared his plans to participate. This was supported by other governors and members of the NEC.
According to the report as seen on Premium Times, Mai Mala Buni, Governor of Yobe State was voted chairman of the party by the attendees. They agreed that he will function as the chairman while still being a governor in Yobe State.
