Amy Schumer and her husband Chris Fischer are celebrating the birth of their first child, a baby boy.
When Amy Schumer announced her pregnancy, she said. “I look forward to competing with Markle every step of the way.” True to her word, she delivered a baby boy just hours before Meghan Markle welcomed her own son into the world.
She wrote on Instagram, “10:55 pm last night. Our royal baby was born.” Alongside an image of the new family of three. In an Instagram post over the weekend, Amy also revealed she was having a baby boy.
The actress and her husband got married in 2018, in a surprise ceremony in Malibu, California. She announced the pregnancy last October in Jessica Yellin’s Instagram Story. Yellin posted the Amy’s picks for candidates in the 2018 midterm elections, and discreetly at the bottom was a message from her. “I’m pregnant -Amy Schumer.”
Amy, 37, has posted regularly on social media about her difficult pregnancy. In November, she revealed her pregnancy had been “really tough so far” during a show in Las Vegas. Later that month, she canceled several shows due to hyperemesis gravidarum, or extreme morning sickness.
Congratulations, Amy Schumer!
