Not much is known about the new season except that its going to premiere in the fall of 2019. The FX horror anthology series is already renewed for a season 10 which is expected to come sometime in 2020.

In the new trailer , we get to see a woman running through the woods followed by a faceless entity wielding a huge knife. The theme appears to be that of an 80’s slasher movie.

The usual suspects on the show every season include; Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, and Emma Roberts just to mention a few of a huge talented cast. We now know that certain key players in previous seasons will return while some have taken a bow. However, we donot know if they’ll have an encore in future seasons. As you can remember, Jessica Lange made her last appearance in “Freak Show” as Elsa Mars.

However, in a surprising twist of events, she made a shocking return in “Apocalypse” as her character from the first season “Murder House”. Ryan Murphy has confirmed Emma Roberts return appearance in Season 9. He also announced a new comer to the cast – Olympic medalist Gus Kenworthy as her character’s boyfriend. However, Evan Peters is not going to be back. Although, Peters has appeared in every season from Murder house to Apocalypse, he revealed in an interview at Wondercon that he would be “sitting a season out.” So, fingers still crossed we may get to see him in future seasons.
