Following Chelsea’s unfortunate fall in form, the management is now in contact with former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri to take over from Frank Lampard as Chelsea manager. Chelsea beat ten men Fulham in the weekend but was beaten last night.
Nigerian international Wilfred Ndidi opened the scoring the first six minutes of the game. The Nigerian playmaker volleyed in a shot with his left foot which went for the bar before landing in the back of the net. It was Ndidi’s second goal against Chelsea in the English Premier League since joining Leicester City.
He was voted Leicester City’s third-best player after the game which ended 2-0 in favour of Leicester City. Chelsea spent so much in the last transfer window, but with all the players they signed, it seems things are not going with them.
Reports show that the club management is likely to use former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri to replace Lampard in the club. Roman Abramovich recently said he would employ former Chelsea manager Avram Grant to Assist Lampard but with the result coming it is mostly Lampard might not be given more time in the club.
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard said he is worried about the club’s form after the game. They are now in the eighth-place position in the English Premier League table games. The manager is concerned because they started December top of the table, but now they are eighth on the table and chances are that they might drop again because club which they are topping having outstanding games.”
The manager further said: “It’s not where we want to be.” He also said: “I am worried. From the form we were in to get so quickly into the form we’re in now, even with the Fulham win [on Saturday] and some other wins in there, we should be better than losing five in eight.”
” It’s a young team. They won’t be feeling superior. I’m not against the lads in the dressing room. They will have learned a lesson.” All things being equal Massimiliano Allegri will replace Lampard at the end of the month if Chelsea game does not improve.
