All EPL DeadLine Summer Transfer

The deadline for the EPL summer transfer of 2019/20 season was stipulated to be 2nd of September. Many EPL teams used this opportunity to offload some players by selling and loaning them to create space in the little available spot. Below is a track on the EPL teams that used the deadline day signings. 


Henrik Mkhitaryan – (AS Roma) Loan

The Arsenal man who featured in the last north London derby has moved to AS Roma on a full season loan. The last game he played in Emirates was against Spurs, and he came as a sub. That game would be his last in the English Premiership (EPL) for the 2019/20 season. He arrived in Italy on the deadline day of the transfer window and was warmly welcomed by The She-Wolf side at the airport.

Kelechi Nwankali – (Huesca) Undisclosed

Nigerian international Kelechi Nwakali has joined the Spanish Segunda Division side, SD Huesca on a three-year permanent deal for an undisclosed fee. The former VV Venlo and Porto player moved to the Spanish side on Monday night.

Kennedy – (Getafe) Loan 

After two loan spells at Newcastle, between 2018 and 2019, Kenedy, 23, has agreed to spend 2019-20 with Getafe. Kenedy arrived from Fluminense in the same summer as Rahman and has made 27 appearances for Chelsea, scoring three goals.

Spending the past 18 months on loan at Newcastle with opportunities in the first team few and far between in SW6, the Brazilian has admitted he is pleased the manager has given him the opportunity to prove himself ahead of the new season as he looks to remain in west London. He has joined Portuguese club Rio Ave until the end of the season.

Baba Rahman – (Real Mallorca) Loan

Rahman, 25, signed a one-year contract extension with Chelsea to 2022 before joining Real Mallorca on loan.

Leicester City

Rachid Ghezzal – (Fiorentina) Loan


Ryan Kent – (Rangers) 1.7 million

Bobby Duncan – (Fiorentina) 1.8 million

Bobby joined the Italian giant on a three-year contract. The player was sold for the sum of 2 million. The 18-year-old striker makes the move to Italy after one season with Liverpool, during which he scored 32 goals at Academy level.

Duncan will now join Fiorentina having finalized a permanent switch on the last day of the European transfer window. Everybody at the club wishes Bobby the best of luck in his future career.

Fernando Llorente former Tottenham Attacker

Llorente has reportedly joined the Napoli side on a permanent deal. The report has it that he went on a free transfer. The 34-year-old has been a free agent since the expiry of his Spurs contract at the end of last season.

Llorente spent two seasons at Spurs after signing from Swansea City in the summer of 2017, scoring 13 goals in 66 matches. He has now joined the Gli Azzurri (The Blues) of Italy on a free transfer.

Former Manchester United player who joined the West Ham two seasons ago has reportedly joined the Spanish La Liga side, Sevilla, on a permanent deal. Although 10 months of his contract is still remaining with the London side, he has completed his move to the Los Hispalenses (The Ones from Hispalis). According to Chicharito, “I am in the best form of my life presently and feels happy to return to the Spanish side”
