Aisha Yesufu Reveals Those Behind Tuesday Lekki Toll Gate Massacre

Nigerian activist, Aisha Yesufu has alleged that President Muhammadu Buhari, ordered soldiers who shot and killed scores of peaceful protesting Nigerians in Lagos State on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.

She made the allegation in her tweet shortly after trending videos took over social media, showing men in military uniform shooting and killing Nigerians at the Lekki toll gate area of Lagos State.

There were reports that some government officials came to the toll gate to switch off the CCTV cameras and streets lights minutes before the shooting which resulted in killing and maiming of Nigerian started.

Aisha Yesufu has been hard on government over several misgivings, while placing demands on better treatment of the citizens by the government. She was seen severally taking part in protests against government and speaking loudly for the voiceless.
