Again, Tinubu Absent from Arise TV Town Hall Series, See Reasons

Share

For the second time, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Flag Bearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC, refused to appear for the Arise TV Town Hall Series for Presidential Candidates.

This time, the party’s spokesperson for the Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo, SAN, retweeted a post about Asiwaju’s whereabouts indicating why he was not at the Arise debate.

The tweet reads, “Tinubu has been participating in the most critical of debates – that’s speaking with the people at the grassroots. He has been traversing states, listening to heartbeats and addressing specific needs. He recognises all Nigerians as his primary constituency, not any network.”

Meanwhile, the likes of Peter Obi, the Labour Party, LP Presidential Candidate, the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Dr Rabiu Kwankwaso, and their counterpart, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, were all present to showcase to Nigerian citizens their manifestos and why they are the best candidates for the job come 2023.
