Africa’s Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah nominated for FIFA Football Awards.

Two Africans Sadio Mane from Senegal and Mohamed Salah of Egypt are among the nominees on FIFA Football Award list. The Two Liverpool players have over the years been making Africa proud. They both were among the trio that won the English Premier League Golden Boot Award last season and they both featured at the just concluded 2019 Africa Cup of Nation, where they had a fantastic outing with Mane finishing with the silver medal.

The Best FIFA Football Awards is an association football award presented yearly by football regulatory body, FIFA, since 2016. The first awarding ceremony was held on 9 January 2017 in Zurich, Switzerland. This year award saw two Africans Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah on the list with the previous winners the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo and Argentine’s Lionel Mess.

The list also includes the likes Virgil Van Dijk, Netherland, Sadio Mane, Senegal Mohamed Salah, Egypt, Harry Kane, England, Matthijs de Ligt, Netherlands, Frenkie de Jong, Netherlands, Kylian Mbappe, France and Eden Hazard, Belgium.
