The African Democratic Party, ADC Presidential Primaries have taken place with Dumebi Kachukwu, the Chief Executive Officer, CEO and Founder of Roots TV, clinging onto the party ticket.
Kachukwu, now the party’s flag bearer, defeated the former Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Kingley Moghalu, for a chance to represent ADC at the 2023 general elections.
Similar to the previous party primaries, ADC Presidential Primaries held its election on Wednesday down to Thursday in Abeokuta, Ogun State, where the new flag bearer scored the highest votes, 978, as against that of the ex-CBN Boss, and seven other aspirants, whose votes did not come close to the winner.
Overall, the party had ten contenders at the presidential convention struggling for the votes of 2,100 party delegates.
