Tottenham Hotspur major transfer target Adama Traore of Wolverhampton Wanderers seems far from coming in as the Premier League side have rejected a £15m bid from then for the Spanish international. Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte is keen on signing the 25-year-old Spain international.
Wolves Turns Down Tottenham Bid for Adama Traore
Adama Traore has 18 months left on his contract at Molineux and even though the player has not scored many goals this season or provided assist the club is not willing to let him go. Wolves manager Bruno Lage knows he must sell before he buys new players this month but he is not willing to sell the player just yet at least not for £15m which is the amount Tottenham is willing to pay.
Traore scored his first goal of the season when they beat Southampton 3-1 in last week’s weekend. Wolves signed Traore from Middlesbrough for £18m in August 2018. Conte believes he can use Traore in a wing-back role, similar to how he worked with forwarding Victor Moses during his time at Chelsea.
