Ruth Kadiri Laments Over New Movie Role
Popular Nigerian actress, Ruth Kadiri laments over new movie role but her reasons will wow you. The actress expressed anger over the fact that she didn’t have the opportunity to slay like some of her colleagues due to the kinds of roles she got.
According to the Nollywood star, Ruth she had just given herself a luxurious self care treatment that included lash extensions, hair extensions, manicure and pedicure when she received a script that required her to look like a village girl.
She explained that producers were in the habit of given her such roles and the job gave her little to no time to look like a slay queen which annoyed her so much.
In her words she said,
“Forget, na actor wey no dey get work na im dey be slay queen because me na my own life I don use am as example. you cant even be alright, you cant even package yourself “
“Noo, they will spoil it, the script will come tell you to look like a mad person, tell you to become a boy, tell you to become an old woman, only you. At least I would have started my year with a bit of luxury, look pretty, look alright. Nooo, they want me to remove wig, remove lashes, Ruth Kadiri it is you.”
