Nollywood actress, Lizzy Gold has got her fans and followers talking with a post on married couples, revealing she might not get married.
The actress specifically talked about doing house chores and women taken as slaves as an excuse for not giving in to marriage.
In her words, she reveals that marriage is for women who can do house chores not minding their positions. This has got many Nigerians to storm her page and give their opinion on the subject matter.
She wrote on her page @lizzygoldofficial ”I’ve realized 80 per cent of marriages in Africa women are meant to do house chores… Please is this what marriage is about? married couples I need your attention here. Maybe if someone explains better to me I might change my mind about marriage’‘
Lizzy Gold also tells how she saw a heavily pregnant woman washing her husband’s clothes while the man just stood and was speaking with her. She was quizzed on why the man couldn’t help the woman to wash.
She then asked ”So my question is are women married to slave for men? Is been pregnant not enough stress already? Can’t the men also do house chores?”
