Iyabo Ojo #ENDSARS
Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo Fespris, has taken to social media to raise alarm over threats by government following her participation in the #ENDSARS protest.
Nigerians have taken to the street to protest against Police brutality and bad governance over the past few weeks. Nigerians celebrities also played major roles as they joined the masses to air their concern about the state-of-the-nation.
Actress, Iyabo Ojo joined her colleagues on the street of Lagos in protest. The mother of two in social media post also stated that she won’t support, canvass or vote for any politician.
Iyabo Ojo mentioned APC & PDP as no go area in the next election.
She has now received threat for this move according to her latest post on her social media page. The screen diva said a friend told her that her name was mentioned in government circles.
Her post reads, ““So this morning I wake up to a message from a friend in the media, he said someone sent this to him“
“Now, if you are close to Iyabo Ojo, advise her to calm down. Smart celebrities who have brains don’t take on governments ooo.
“I was somewhere and her name was mentioned.” she added.
Meanwhile, there has been rumours that the END SARS protest leaders are to be banned from leaving the country.
