Human rights activist and leader of the #RevolutionNow movement, Omoyele Sowore, has exposed the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, who is reportedly nursing the ambition to vie for the 2023 Presidency.
In a tweet by Sowore, the former Presidential candidate accused Bello of purchasing a degree from a fake institution known as St. Thomas A Becket University.
“This joker went to purchase a “dis-honorary degree” from a fake university known as “St. Thomas A Becket University”, the problem is that someone must have scammed Yahaya Bello of the little money left in Kogi’s treasury after he @ed_onoja steal the state allocation” Sowore tweeted.
EveryEvery.ng had reported that a former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani Kayode, recently justified why Governor Bello should run for the 2023 Presidency amid speculations making the rounds that the Governor is interested in the Presidency.
The former Minister noted that it is absurd to ask the Governor not to run for the 2023 Presidency, adding that the North Central has not produced a democratically-elected President and should not settle for another position come 2023.
According to Fani Kayode, Nigeria needs solid, decisive leadership, a generational change and a bridge-builder.
Though Yahaya Bello has not publicly declared his ambition to become the President, there is publicity from some quarters, particularly from people who wants him to build on what they describe as his achievement as a governor (read more here).
