Ahmed Idris
Accountant-General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris, has revealed to Nigerians what his office intends to use the sum of thirty-six million naira as included in the 2022 budget.
Surprisingly, Idris revealed that his office would use the money for fumigation in their various locations in different states, within the country, including the headquarters and a treasury academy in Abuja.
What caught everyone’s attention was a particular item on the list of things the A-G’s office hopes to scare away with the fumigation process.
While speaking in Abuja recently, Mr Ahmed Idris hinted that they intend to fight off ANTELOPES, among other reptiles, which was quite convincing in his explanation at a budget defence session with the House of Representatives Committee on Finance.
Overall, his office presented a total of N10.470 billion for the 2022 fiscal year. The N36 million is earmarked to proffer them with the adequate amount of fumigation materials needed, especially the academy surrounded by bushes, among other worries.
