AC Milan Return to Winning Ways in Italian Serie A

AC Milan moved four closer to regaining their top place position as they registered an away win over AS Roma in the Italian Serie A matchday 24 2-1. Ivorian international Franck Kessie put Milan in front of the penalty spot after Roma’s Federico Fazio brought down Davide Calabria in the penalty box.

AC Milan Revive their Title Race

Roma came back into the game in the second half of the game, courtesy of Jordan Veretout’s goal. The player scored the equalizer from 18 yards out in the 50th minute of the game.

AC Milan’s top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic, suffered and groin injury and was pulled out to rest the injury. Ante Rebic’s scored the winner for Milan after receiving a pass from Alexis Saelemaekers.

Milan has returned to winning ways ahead of their Europa League clash with Manchester United, who played goalless in the EPL matchday 25 games against Chelsea. 

The result draws them closer to Inter Milan, who are currently the league leaders. They aim to win this year’s Serie A league title ahead of their rivals Inter Milan who their own home game against Genoa 3-0.
