In recent time, it seems like kidnappings are becoming commonplace in Nigeria, as abductions continue to be prevalent in different parts of the country and happen across different levels.
In the latest iteration of these terrible attacks on innocent Nigerians, bandits kidnapped at least 30 people, after invading Jangaru village in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State, in the early hours of Monday morning.
This has happened on the same day the African First Ladies Peace Mission encouraged the paretns in the North to send their children back to school, despite the rate at which kidnappings have become rampant in the area.

It is not all gloom and doom, though, as Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle, has again secured the release of ten abductees without paying ransom.
The victims, including the father of one of the girls kidnapped at Jangebe, had been in captivity for over three months and two weeks.
They said they were abducted in the Gwaram community of Talata Mafara Local Government Area of the state.
