Nollywood comic star Olatayo Amokade, popularly known as Ijebu, has stepped into the ongoing feud between Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Imisi, and her mother, urging the reality TV star to put an end to the escalating dispute.
In a video shared on his Instagram page on Sunday evening, Ijebu addressed Imisi directly, pleading with her to seek peace and forgiveness. He emphasized the importance of a mother’s role, describing her as a “mini-god” whose significance in a child’s life cannot be replaced or diminished.
His message comes at a time when Imisi’s strained relationship with her mother has become a topic of public discussion, following continuous exchanges on social media.
During a recent interview on TVC Entertainment, Imisi opened up about the emotional turmoil she endured before joining the BBNaija house. The reality star revealed that she suffered a heartbreaking loss in April, just weeks before her audition.
“I lost my baby this year April. It’s not even a month before I auditioned for Big Brother. The whole thing was so overwhelming. I do not want to talk about it,” she said, expressing deep sorrow.
Prior to entering the show, Imisi had also confirmed that she ended her relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Hakeem, only weeks before participating in the competition, adding to the series of personal challenges she faced.
