Manchester United players have started unfollowing Greenwood following the rape and assault scandal he is currently facing that has led to his arrest. The situation has left the club’s interim manager Ralf Rangnick in a difficult place to restore club harmony after several of Manchester United’s senior squad ‘unfollowed’ striker Mason Greenwood on social.
Manchester United as a club released a statement saying the player will not train or play with other United players and they have banned him from joining them. The statement came in some hours before the arrest of the player who is now in police custody.
