Celebrities, politicians, family and friends around the world have Congratulated Chief Dele Momodu as he marks his 6oth birthday on Saturday, May 16.
President Muhammadu Buhari, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu among others congratulated Momodu, who is the publisher of Ovation International.
President Buhari wished him more enormous contributions to the further emancipation of Nigeria.
Also, Tinubu noted that the celebrant had done remarkably well for the journalism profession and Nigeria as a country.
1. Momodu is a Nigerian journalist, publisher, businessman, motivational speaker and the Chief Executive Officer of Ovation International, a magazine.
2. He has bagged numerous awards for his contribution to business, politics, literature, music industry and the fashion industry.
3. Dele Momodu graduated from the University of Ife, formerly known as Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife where he obtained a degree in Yoruba and a master’s degree in English Literature.
4. He was the private secretary to the former Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Chief Akin Omoboriowo as he also managed the Motel Royal Limited owned by late Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade Olubuse II.
5. Momodu was arrested and detained after the annulment of the June 12th Presidential election by General Ibrahim Babangida.
6. On January 12, 2011, he emerged the Presidential candidate of the National Conscience Party (NCP) after polling 169 votes to clinch the ticket ahead of co-aspirants Chief Martin Onovo and Atei Beredugo with 8 and 14 votes respectively. Dele and his wife Mobolaji Abiodun Momodu have four children.
