6 Nigerians Added to USA Cybercrimes List

The United States of America (USA) Treasury department has added six young Nigerians to its sanction for cybercrimes list against the United States.

The names were added by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the United States. They are all males and were accused of conducting an elaborate online scheme to steal over $6 million from victims in the USA.

The Nigerians on the cybercrimes list are;

  1. Benson Nnamdi Orson, 33
  2. Kayode Abiola Ayorinde, 32
  3. Ogunshakin Alex Afolabi, 37
  4. Okpoh Felix Osilama, 31
  5. Olorunyomi Michael, 37
  6. Uzuh Richard Izuchukwu, 34

The list did not say the crime of the individuals directly, but the list which is classified as ‘CYBER2’ is a classification that is derived from an executive order by the Obama administration against cybercrime-related issues.
