21-Year-Old Man Murders Friend Over Girl In Bauchi.
The men of the Bauchi state command of the Nigerian Police Force have arrested a 21-year-old man who was simply known as Ishaku for stabbing his friend Zeloti John to death over a child.
It was gathered that the incident occurred on Friday, May 29 in a drinking joint in Dass. Ishaku allegedly stabbed Zeloti in three separate parts of his body with a knife after arguing over who was the “girl’s true boyfriend”
The spokesperson of Bauchi State Police Command DSP Ahmed Wakili confirmed the incident and also stated that Zeloti John had been rushed to Dass General Hospital where he was confirmed dead. He was buried June 1 Monday.
Wakili said the perpetrator was arrested as the investigation continues to discover the remote and immediate cause of the murder.
In other news, a family was thrown into mourning after their son, identified as Chisom Eze, allegedly killed his elder brother, identified as Henry, in their residence at Johnson Street, Alaba, Lagos over N100 soft drink.
It was reported that it all started afterwards Chisom stepped out, leaving his drink, only to come back to find that his brother, Henry, had drunk his soft drink, which greatly angered him.
The matter is currently under investigation and the suspect under Arrest.
