The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board has issued a new directive to candidates sitting for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, 2021 UTME.
JAMB advised all candidates sitting for the 2021 Mock examination scheduled for Thursday, June 3 2021, to visit their assigned centres with N700.
According to the examination body, UTME candidates would pay the amount to the Centre owner as the mock examination fee.
JAMB had earlier announced that Candidates who had registered for the 2021 UTME and indicated interest to sit the optional mock examination are to print their notification slips from Sunday, May 9 2021.
Meanwhile, the examination body has announced that there will be no general extension of the registration closing date for the 2021 UTME and the Direct Entry (DE). In its Weekly Bulletin, JAMB warned that only those with genuine proof would be granted an extension.
The body promised to give a second chance to those who have genuinely tried to register but failed either due to late delivery of the National Identity Number verification code, inability to obtain NIN or wrong names initially submitted to the National Identity Management Commission.
JAMB asked all prospective candidates with genuine proof of failed efforts to register before the closing date to visit any of its offices for reconciliation between Monday, May 31 and June 15.
