Kano state has been under severe scare for the past few days as regards to the number of dead bodies currently being carried to the burial grounds without any autopsy to determine the cause of death.
There have also been reported cases of some prominent people who have died. On Saturday, a few notable names were rumoured to have passed away. This adds to over 150 others that died in the state this past week under strange circumstances.

Before the NCDC report on Saturday, Kano state had reportedly not done any testing for a couple of days and had no cases to be reported. Residents of Kano have been talking about the amounts of death happening in their city. Be it coronavirus or not, it is worrisome that there are a lot of people dying in a state without proper explanation, and due to Islamic rights, these people are buried before 24hours.
