Reports coming in from Lagos state is that 11 more people recover from coronavirus. This brings the total number of recoveries in Nigeria to 20. This comes less than a week into the lockdown order from government.
Commendations have also come in for the Lagos State Government for their efforts towards combating the virus.
The Governor of Lagos State confirmed the number of recoveries as he made the announcement,
” I am happy to break to you, my good people of Lagos, the news of the release today of 11 more patients from our facility in Yaba. They have fully recovered and have tested negative to #COVID19 and have been allowed to return home to their families.”
