Ten men Bologna surprisingly came from behind to thrash Inter Milan in their Serie A Matchday 30, the ten men of Bologna staged a stunning comeback to deny Inter Milan the chance to move within a point of second-placed Lazio in Serie A. Inter Milan lose the chance to move closer to climbing the second place position although they started very well.
Inter Milan was the first to find the back of the net with Romelu Lukaku opening the scoring, Belgium and former Manchester United striker opened the scoring when he tapped in the rebound after Lautaro Martinez’s header hit the post. Argentine and Barcelona target Martinez had the chance to double the lead but missed the chance to score as he missed a penalty.
The penalty was poorly taken and Bologna’s goalkeeper did well to put the ball away and Roberto Soriano was sent off for the tackle that resulted to the penalty. Musa Barrow struck the winner from inside the box late on, just six minutes after Musa Juwara equalised.
Both teams however finished with 10 men as Alessandro Bastoni was shown a second yellow card with the score poised at 1-1. Antonio Conte’s Inter remain third in the table, four points behind Lazio and one point above Atalanta while Bologna move up to ninth place position.
